Are you ghosting your therapist?

OK...this is just funny. As a matter of needing to talk this through let me say this - finding the RIGHT therapist can be an absolute game changer. I always look at it like dating because when you open up and build trust something beautiful can happen. Also, if you are ghosting your therapist you should ask yourself a really important question - Am I actually ready to take responsibility for my life? Many people, myself included in the past looked at therapy as a joke or something that I was "supposed" to do. We all have to make really hard decisions when it comes to our mental health but one of the most important parts of healing is to create a team and a game plan around your goals and your mission. If you want to find health and happiness you have to be willing to do the work. Just because you disappear doesn't mean that your past does too.
